The annual Windstorm Insurance Conference (WIND) is a conference for the property insurance claims industry. Our mission is to provide professional development, training, certifications, and networking opportunities to bring together defense and policyholder representatives to better connect, learn, and engage for the betterment of our industry and consumers.

For your safety, Windstorm Insurance Network will be following federal, state, and local guidelines at the time of the event. The guidelines, protocols, notices, and waivers below apply to all event attendees, regardless of vaccination status. We are monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and its variants and will update our Health & Safety as appropriate.

By registering for this event, you agree to abide by the Safety Protocols in place at the time of the event. If you are registering on another’s behalf, ensure that they agree to abide by these terms; you assume full responsibility for their acceptance of these terms. Failure to adhere here or comply with the Safety Protocols in place may result in removal from the event and/or event premises. These protocols may include, but are not limited to, mask/facial covering usage, temperature checks, social distancing, etc. and may be updated or adjusted. Any changes will be communicated by Windstorm Insurance Network to attendees in advance of the event and/or upon attendees' arrival at the event.

Your name badge identifies you as a WIND attendee and must be worn for admission to all conference functions including the Expo.

Please have photo ID ready to pick up badge at registration. If you lose your badge, a replacement badge can be purchased for $25.

Registration and attendance at WIND events constitutes an agreement by the registrant for WIND's use and distribution of attendee's images in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions, and audio tapes for WIND's promotional use only. Please note that WIND does not permit audio or video recording of workshop presentations.

The dress code is business casual for all conference events, both day and evening. Professional business attire is strongly recommended.

Suggested Attire

  • Slacks/dress pants, Khakis
  • Dress shirt, casual button-down shirt, open-collar, polo shirt, knit shirt or sweater (no spaghetti straps or décolleté)
  • Seasonal sport coat or blazer and belt, with slacks or khakis
  • Optional tie
  • Dress
  • Flats, high heels, loafers or loafer-style shoes, and socks

Discouraged Attire

  • Flip flops or Slides
  • Torn, worn, or threadbare items
  • Workout clothes
  • Bare midriff
  • Shorts
