Jonathan Alden began his career in law enforcement in 1989 and retired as a Sergeant in 2014.  From 1994 through 2003 he was an independent auto adjuster/appraiser on the carrier side in NYC where he adjusted over 15,000 claims.  Jonathan decided to put adjusting on hold in order to obtain a law degree which he did in 2007 and successfully passed the bar exam in New York, New Jersey, and Florida.  After retiring from law enforcement in 2014, Jonathan moved to Florida to pursue a career in Public Adjusting.  There he adjusted over 1,000 claims mostly from Hurricanes Irma and Ian.  In 2021 he sat for the Alabama Bar in an effort to expand his opportunities in Public Adjusting and subsequently with his wife Sharon, opened Alabma Public Adjusters, LLC.  In 2022, Jonathan and Sharon started Gulf Coast Dispute Resolution Services which is an ADR firm that represents both Policyholders and Insurers in Mediation, Appraisal, and Umpiring.
