Dr. Jain has 30 years of experience designing, analyzing and investigating structures for extreme loads. During this time, he has led investigations to determine the cause of damage/collapse of more than 5000 structures worldwide. His post-disaster assessment experience also includes investigations of the World Trade Center twin towers’ collapse after 9/11 and Champlain Tower. Most recently Dr. Jain served as the Chair of ASCE’s Structural Wind Engineering Committee, Chair of the Executive Committee of ASCE's Wind Engineering Division, was a voting member of the SEAOC Wind Engineering Committee and was an Associate Member of the ASCE 7 Wind Loads Subcommittee. Dr. Jain has co-authored more than 85 peer-reviewed technical publications in journals and conference proceedings along with co-authoring chapters in 5 books. Dr. Jain is a Vice President at Walker Consultants and leads the Forensic Engineering practice for the firm from its Tampa office.
