Jim Shea is a Mediator and Arbitrator with Miles ADR in Tampa. Jim mediates and arbitrates construction, insurance, business, employment, and tort disputes throughout the Southeast. Jim has served as the mediator, arbitrator, and umpire for a variety of first-party insurance disputes ranging from large loss commercial to multi-family and single-family residential properties. These disputes include wind, water, hurricane, tornado, fire, flood, and lightning damage claims, as well as bad faith and subrogation actions.
Jim is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, Certified County Court Mediator, and a United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Certified Mediator. He is also a Florida Supreme Court approved and AAA Panel Arbitrator. He has over thirty years of litigation and dispute resolution experience, including ten years as in-house counsel for a nationwide installation company.
