Mr. Aiken is a trial lawyer in McDowell Hetherington's Houston office. Mr. Aiken's practice focuses on financial services and insurance litigation across all lines. Licensed in Texas and Florida, Mr. Aiken's first party property experience includes litigating residential and commercial matters across the United States. Mr. Aiken has represented his clients in cases amounting to billions of dollars in risk across 8 “CAT” storms. Mr. Aiken likewise has significant experience representing carriers approved to issue flood insurance under the National Flood Insurance Program.

After graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in finance, Mr. Aiken worked at Morgan Stanley & Co., as an investment-banking analyst. At Morgan Stanley, he focused on oil and gas issues; advising clients on financing, mergers, and acquisitions; and strategic-structural alternatives.
